X-Y Graph Plots

The X-Y graph plot provides an x-y plot of various quantities of interest. The quantities are referred to the nodes. More than one node can be plotted and displayed simultan-eously. Depending on the type of plot, the x or y quantities may be sorted in ascending order.

Quantities which can be plotted in PISA:
The following quantities can be plotted on the x or y axis.

  1. X displacement - Displacements in the x direction;
  2. Y displacement - Displacements in the y direction;
  3. X coordinate - X coordinate of the node;
  4. Y coordinate - Y coordinate of the node;
  5. Stress xx -;
  6. Stress yy - ;
  7. Stress xy - ;
  8. Stress 1 - (compression is negative, is the algebraic larger stress quantity);
  9. Stress 3 - (compression is negative, is the algebraic smaller stress quantity);
  10. Max. Shear - is calculated from
  11. Stress 1/Stress 3 -
  12. P - mean stress.
  13. q - shear stress. is the second stress invariants and
  14. q/p - ratio of q/p as defined above;
  15. Strain xx -;
  16. Strain yy - ;
  17. Strain xy - ;
  18. Major Principle - (extension is positive);
  19. Minor Principle -.
