Finite Element Mesh Plots

PISA provides various types of finite element mesh plots. Basic finite element meshes can be plotted in different scales. Also the deformed mesh can be plotted or superimposed on the undeformed mesh. Displacement can be exaggerated or reduced to provide a clear picture of the mechanism of deformation. The deformed mesh can be plotted using total displacements or the difference in displacement between any two steps. This allows examination of incremental changes between steps. PISA also recognizes active and inactive elements and only plots those elements which are active at a particular step. A displacement scale is shown for accurate measurement of the amount of displacement.
